“Ashley was there with Ian, who appears to be her new boyfriend,” a witness tells Life & Style. “The two seemed really happy and kissed throughout the show!”
Ashley, 22, plays vampire clairvoyant Alice Cullen in the Twilight franchise. Ian, 30, will play moody vampire Damon on the CW pilot Vampire Diaries. Dating vampires — love it!!!
Other castmates in the crowd included Kristen Stewart, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed and Taylor Lautner.

Donning an all black ensemble including a matching fedora, a solo Ian Somerhalder courteously signed autographs for a couple of fans while in downtown Vancouver today (April 6).
The 30-year-old actor — who famously played Boone on Lost back when the ABC show was relevant — is in Canada to begin work on his new CW pilot Vampire Diaries.
The show is based on a series of young-adult novels by L.J. Smith in which a female high school student falls for a vampire named Stefan, who has bad blood with his older brother Damon.
Ian plays Damon, “a smug vampire who can go from playful to evil in a split second.”

Posted in photos on April 13, 2009 by gabrieleFormer Lost hottie Ian Somerhalder has been out of the limelight for the past year or so but has just this week surfaced in Vancouver, Canada to press the flesh and sign a few autographs for fans. Ian in “Vampire Diaries”
Posted in Vampire Diaries, tv series on April 2, 2009 by gabriele
‘Wake’: The opening night film at Cinequest
Posted in Premiere, Wake on April 2, 2009 by gabrieleWorld premiere
The Cinequest Film Festival kicks off its 19th year Wednesday with the world premiere of “Wake,” a dark comedy involving a young woman with a very noticeable quirk: She loves to go to the funerals of complete strangers. But at one of those funerals, Carys Reitman (played by Bijou Phillips of “Choke”) meets a man mourning his fiance (Ian Somerhalder, best known for his work on “Lost”), and she finds herself connecting with someone for the first time. It all leads to a reassessment of her own life views and how she relates to other.
The film, which co-stars Danny Masterson (“That ’70s Show”) and Jane Seymour (“Wedding Crashers”), was directed by Ellie Kanner, who started out as a television casting director (“Sex and the City” among other series) and worked her way up to directing episodes of such shows as “Wildfire” and “Greek.”
Tickets to the premiere (7 p.m. Wednesday at the California Theatre) are $12, but for $40, you not only get the film but also a post-party with the filmmakers at Billy Berk’s and Mezcal at San Fernando and First streets.
